Cello—Uncyclopedia
The greatest kick of your life, I promise. Most bolded text my own, to emphasize the lie/exaggeration/obvious relevance to moi.
Anybody who plays the cello is an intelligent person who has marvelous taste, and is commonly known as a “cellist” (Note If you want to annoy a cellist, call them a “cello-ist”). Not everyone can...

Pretty please follow my music blog?
And perhaps reblog so I can get even more followers?

Megan is one of the absolutely most talented composers I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. And, granted, I don’t personally know a lot of composers, I would listen to her music all the time, even if we’d never met.
Give her music...

Hey everyone, just some [shameless] somewhat self-promotion, but fyeahclassicalcomposers seems to be dying, and I don’t want it to die!
Can you please help me revive it? Submit your ideas here or memes themselves here.
Thanks!
Much love, The Maestro

touchmycelloanddie asked: This is a beautiful blog. It made my day when I found it. Is there a way to reblog all your posts at once?

loveinallcolors asked: The fact that this blog exists, forces me to have hope in humanity. I've been playing the cello for ten years and it is the biggest pride I have in my life, my only true passion. Have you heard the song "Inferno" from The Divine Comedy? It's a full orchestra piece and completely amazing.

tinsqu asked: hello! I was just wondering... is the cello easy to learn? I already play the piano (14 years), ukulele & guitar (both 3 years) & I think it's about time I learn a new instrument! I think the cello is very beautiful instrument & it's one of my favorites too, next to the piano. Do you think a person with no orchestra related past can handle the cello? o:

Hello all,
Please keep the submissions coming! (For either Cello Problems or Cello Pro!)
Also, please check out and submit to fyeahclassicalcomposers! Memegenerator hasn’t worked for me in months, but I don’t want that blog to die. If you just have a tag line, you can also submit it here and I’ll attempt some magic in Microsoft Paint.
Love always, The Maestro

Does anyone have any tips regarding the crazy triplets starting at measure 87 in Air and Simple Gifts by John Williams?
I have a midterm on Thursday and I really don’t know what to do. The part is extremely awkward, and in my opinion, superfluous.

phemecalliope asked: ey, so I just got into Alexander Technique and it's helping a thousand fold, but I find that when I finally use my bow arm correctly (i.e. as an extension of the back; no tension, etc.) my thumb cramps up. Idk if you guys'd have any advice, but I figured I'd ask xD
un-unique asked: Everything here is relavent!

General classical music problem.
Someone in my English class claimed that the Requiem at the end of “Death of a Salesman” alludes to the great “Requiem for a Dream by, I think it was Mozart.”
Holy dear Johannes, what.
